36th Annual Springmaid Trail Race 10K and 5K
Over 400 runners are expected at this year’s race, starting at the Greenway Field Trial Barn with a DJ to warm up the crowd and a finish line celebration at the Mary Warner Mack Dog Park. Fort Mill resident and Greenway namesake, Anne Springs Close, 89, will also participate in the Springmaid race for her 36th year.
The storied 36-year tradition of the Springmaid races continues this year and will benefit the Mary Warner Mack Dog Park, a 12-acre dog park located at the Anne Springs Close Greenway that opened in May. Race participants will receive two free passes to the Fall Frolic festival, as well as a long-sleeve race t-shirt (while supplies last.) Red Ventures joins the race as Title Sponsor for this year's event and is offering free registration for Red Ventures employees to join in this exciting race. Special thanks to event sponsors including Red Ventures, The Andy Bovender Team - Allen Tate, Crossings on Main and Rock Hill Coca-Cola.
