Lakes & Boating
Lakes for Boating:
Lakes Haigler, Crandall, Frances and Stumpy Pond have boat ramps. Gas powered boat motors are prohibited. Kayaks and canoes are available for rent on Lake Haigler (Cantrell Avenue access) on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am until 12 noon and 3 pm until 7 pm and by reservation on weekdays. Please call (803)548-7252. Paddles and life jackets are provided. Rental rates are:
Single Tandem/Canoe

- 1 Hour Rental $12.00 $15.00
- 4 Hour Rental $22.00 $25.00
- 8 Hour Rental $27.00 $30.00
Lakes for Fishing:
Lakes Haigler, Crandall, Frances, Katherine, and Stumpy Pond are stocked with bass, bream, and catfish. Use of live minnows is prohibited. Minnows that escape and mature into shad reduce the quality of the fish population. All bass less than 12 inches in length must be released. Please keep all bream that are caught. Fishing is restricted to members only. A South Carolina fishing license is required.
