Lakes & Boating

Lakes for Boating:

Lakes Haigler, Crandall, Frances and Stumpy Pond have boat ramps. Gas powered boat motors are prohibited.  Reservations for weekday rentals must be made 24 hours in advance. To make a reservation, please call: 803.548.7252. Weekend rentals are open from 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and do not require a reservation. Paddles and life jackets are provided. Rental rates are as followed:

Single Kayak Rental:

  • 30 Minutes: $8 for Non-Members | $5 for Members
  • 1 Hour: $13 for Non-Members | $10 for Members

Tandem Kayak/Canoe Rental:

  • 30 Minutes: $16 for Non-Members | $10 for Members
  • 1 Hour: $26 for Non-Members | $20 for Members

Canoe and Kayak Rentals will begin again in March.

Lakes for Fishing:

Lakes Haigler, Crandall, Frances and Katherine and Stumpy Pond are stocked with bass, bream and catfish. Use of live minnows is prohibited -- minnows that escape and mature into shad reduce the quality of the fish population. All bass less than 12 inches in length must be released. Please keep all bream that are caught. Fishing is restricted to members only. A South Carolina fishing license is required.
