Greenway Activities
There are a wide array of activities and interests to pursue on the Greenway. You can enjoy the natural beauty of the land and the abundant wildlife, hike, ride horses, mountain bike, or participate in one of our scheduled activities, classes, or camps. Several events are held during the year that are open to the public such as the annual Earth Day Celebration (April 17, 2010) and Barbecue and Bluegrass Festival (September 18, 2010) and the Horse Show (September 26, 2010).
Volunteer Trail Maintenance Program
Volunteers meet with our Natural Resource Manager, Josh Patterson, each Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the Greenway Headquarters. This program offers a discount on membership for hours worked. Please contact Josh Patterson at (803)242-9824 or Greenway Headquarters at (803)548-7252 for formalized details on this Volunteer program.
Guided Nature Walks and Programs
Another opportunity to enjoy the Greenway is by taking advantage of our Guided Nature Walks. Please call 803-547-0234 or 803-548-7252 for directions to meeting places, questions about weather and more information.
