You are welcome to enjoy the beauty and history of the Anne Springs Close Greenway, open seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. until sunset (weather permitting).

The Greenway Headquarters is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. and can be reached at 803-548-7252. The Nature Center Welcome Station is open weekends and major holidays and can be reached at 803-547-0234.

Trails are periodically closed due to weather and trail maintenance.  Please check daily trail conditions on this web page or call 803-547-1019.

Day Use Fees

Throughout the Greenway, you will find facilities to make your visit a memorable and pleasant one. The modest day use fees help us offset a portion of the cost of operating and maintaining these facilities. Need-based scholarships to cover fees are available on a confidential request basis. Payment envelopes are available on the kiosks located at most entrances to the Greenway.  Membership is available to those who live or work in York, Lancaster, or Chester counties in South Carolina.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Many volunteer opportunities are available on the Greenway. We are in need of people to help maintain trails and the Plant-A-Row garden, staff welcome stations, assist in the special needs horseback riding program, and work special events. If you or your group would like to volunteer your services for a day or on an ongoing basis, contact Linda Turner 803-548-7252.

 Professional Photography Policy:

All professional photography must be scheduled with the Greenway headquarters office by calling (803) 548-7252 Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 pm. The ASC Greenway charges professional photographers $200 for a half day photo shoot and $400 for a full day photo shoot.

There is no fee for professional bridal or engagement portraits for persons renting ASC Greenway facilities. However, portaits are by appointment only. Please call (803) 548-7252 Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. to schedule appointments.

For professional bridal and engagement portraits for persons not renting ASC Greenway facilities, the fee is $25  for an ASC Greenway member and $50 for a non-member. There is a $25 fee for pictures taken inside a facility.

*No photography is allowed at the Springfield House.
