Staff Accountant - Recreation Complex
Staff Accountant needed for part time working approximately 25 hours per week, M-F.
Applicants must have solid accounting experience. Good understanding of basic accounting principles and strong Excel skills are required. Duties will include balancing cash and check drops, researching discrepancies, communicating overages/shortages, processing credit card transactions, performing cash audits, balancing transactions from special events, assisting with NSF collections and other accounting procedures as needed. Serves as a member of the accounting team and will provide support for Member Services.
Maintenance Tech - ASC Greenway
Seeking a full time Maintenance Technician to serve on the maintenance crew. The ideal candidate must be an independent worker and have a strong mechanical aptitude. Knowledge in plumbing, electrical, maintenance and repair work is required. Performs general farm and grounds keeping work that may include cutting grass, clearing land, installing/maintaining landscaping materials and planting and harvesting hay. Candidates will have equipment operating skills; trade skills are a plus. The tech will also serve in the on-call rotation schedule. Outstanding customer service skills are required as this position will have contact with the public for special events. This person will also work with special events helping with set up and other activities for Earth Day, Bluegrass and BBQ, and Fall Frolic.
Adventure Seekers Afterschool - Teacher Assistants
Now accepting applications for teacher assistants to work in our Adventure Seekers After-School Club. This program provides middle school children (grade 6-8) a chance to engage in recreational activities in a safe, fun environment. Each day we provide a place for quiet study in addition to several recreational opportunities for kids to participate in. Teacher assistants will encourage children to develop a variety of skills including leadership, outdoor, creativity and interpersonal relationships. In addition to study time, Adventure Seekers Club offers outdoor opportunities such as mountain biking, kayaking, low ropes course, archery, hiking, and environmental education. Program runs during the school year and will not be open on holidays and teacher work days. Candidates must be able to provide leadership, be a positive role model and enjoy outdoor activities. Must be available M-F 3:30-6:30pm.
Human Resources Assistant
Assistant needed to help with a variety of functions in HR Department. Main focus will be recruitment. Other areas of expertise include: onboarding, orientation, job descriptions, and other general HR duties. In addition, this position will provide administrative support to the HR department, will have outstanding organizational skills and above average computer skills. Previous HRB experience with the Recruiting module is a plus. Previous HR experience is required.
Certified lifeguards needed to work pool at the Recreation Complex on the Greenway. Current lifeguard certification is required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
Preschool Teacher - ASC Greenway
Preschool teacher needed to work in our preschool program weekday mornings during the school year. Must be nurturing, loving creative and enjoy working with young children. Hours are based on class assignments. Qualified candidates will be educated and experienced in their work with children. Each day for the children will be a creative, learning experience. We are dedicated to making each child feel safe and loved. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
Fall Frolic (Festival Attendants)
We are seeking candidates to work our Fall Frolic Festival for the month of October. Interviews will begin in August. Attendants will work each Saturday and Sunday during October. Training/orientation will be provided at the end of September.
Event Supervisor - This person will assist the Event Coordinator in all areas and will oversee activities and staff during the Festival. Duties will include scheduling staff and volunteers; coordinating supplies, materials, equipment; assisting with daily set up; accounting functions: verify collections and sign off on deposits; and other supervisory duties as assigned.
Admissions Attendants - Hiring two people to work admissions. Duties include greeting visitors; answering festival questions; processing transactions; issuing tickets; reconciling end of shift reports and preparing deposit for supervisor verification; and reporting attendance figures.
Attendants - Attendants will be needed to assist in assigned areas. Duties will include assisting visitors, communicating and following safety rules, answering questions and providing directions for festival activities.
FLYERS - ASC Greenway
FLYERS After School Program will be opening two new sites this fall. Positions are available for Teacher Assistants and a Site Coordinator. The FLYERS program creates a safe place for working parents to leave their children. Homework, crafts, centers, snack and outdoor play are all a part of the FLYERS after school experience. Supplementary programs are also provided that focus on sports, character building and environmental stewardship. Children in our program will engage in activities that enrich the after school experience and encourage creativity, social relationships, appropriate behavior and a positive self-image.
Teacher Assistants needed for the beginning of the school year. Interviews will begin mid July to fill the fall positions. Teacher Assistants must be available Monday thru Friday from 2pm until 6pm. Prior experience working with children from Kindergarten through 5th grade is desirable. First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
Site Coordinator needed for the fall. Interviews will begin mid July to fill this position. The site coordinator must have prior experience working with elementary age children and previous supervisory experience. Hours of work are Monday thru Friday from 2pm until 6pm. First Aid/CPR certification is required.
