FLYERS - After School Program
We're gearing up for fall! We need enthusiastic, creative, nurturing, loving people to work part time in our after school program. The FLYERS program takes place in our local area elementary schools. It's a safe place for working parents to leave their children and encourages education and outdoor exploration. Homework, crafts, centers, snack and outdoor play are part of the after school experience. Supplementary programs are provide that focus on sports, character building and environmental stewardship. Children in K through 5th grade will engage in activities that encourage creativity, social relationships, appropriate behavior and positive self-image. Hours of work are Monday - Friday 2pm - 6pm. Youth Counselor - ASC Greenway, Adventure Seekers Club
Counselor needed for afterschool program serving youth in grades 6-8. Unique opportunity for college grad or master's level student working toward a career in counseling. Counselor will assist youth with resolving conflict, working with special needs participants and ensuring the physical and emotional needs of our participants are being met. Counselor will develop two weekly programs, one geared for the boys and the other for girls. Programs will specifically target conflict resolution skills, limiting bullying behavior and growing health relationships. Kayak Attendant - ASC Greenway
Attendant needed to work Saturdays and Sundays renting kayaks on the Greenway. Work location will be at the kayak shack at the Lake Haigler launch area. Nursery Attendant - ASC Greenway
Part time nursery attendant needed to work Monday through Thursday 5pm-8pm in nursery. Attendant will provide nurturing and quality care to infants and children in a safe and happy environment while parents attend class or workout. Must be engaging, able to inteact with children in a warm and friendly manner. Other duties include maintaining accurate check-in/out records, emergency contact, assist with maintaining a clean, organized nursery and able to communicate positively and effectively. Member Services Rep - ASC Greenway
Part time representatives needed for Member Services at the Anne Close Greenway Recreation Complex. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, knowledge of general cash handling procedures, effective interpersonal and communication skills and excellent computer skills. Prior experience working in a membership based climate as well as prior customer service experience is a plus. Some nights, weekends or holidays may be required. Open shifts are Monday through Thursday 8am until noon; Tuesdays 5pm – 9 pm, Friday 9am – 1:30 and Saturdays 8am-12:30pm and/or 12:30pm – 5pm. Welcome Station Attendants - ASC Greenway
Part-time Welcome Station Attendants needed to greet visitors to the Greenway. Duties will include welcoming guests and visitors, assisting with membership and questions, and helping with directions and questions about activities. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills, and enjoy working with the public. Work schedule is 15 – 25 hours per week, flexibility to work weekdays and weekends a must. Fall Frolic - Festival Attendants
We are seeking candidates to work our Fall Frolic Festival for the month of October. Attendants will work each Saturday and Sunday during October.Training/orientation will be provided at the end of September.
Event Supervisor - This person will assist the Event Coordinator in all areas and will oversee activities and staff during the Festival. Duties will include scheduling staff and volunteers; coordinating supplies, materials, equipment; assisting with daily set up; accounting functions: verify collections and sign off on deposits; and other supervisory duties as assigned.
Admissions Attendants - Duties include greeting visitors; answering festival questions; processing transactions; issuing tickets; reconciling end of shift reports and preparing deposit for supervisor verification; and reporting attendance figures.
Attendants - Attendants will be needed to assist in assigned areas. Duties will include assisting visitors, communicating and following safety rules, answering questions and providing directions for festival activities.

Lifeguards - Recreation Complex
