FLYERS - ASC Greenway

We need enthusiastic, creative, nurturing, loving people to work part time in our after school program. The FLYERS program takes place in our local area elementary schools. Positions are available for After School Teachers, Assistant Site Coordinator and Site Coordinator. The FLYERS program creates a safe place for working parents to leave their children. Homework, crafts, centers, snack and outdoor play are all a part of the FLYERS after school experience. Special programs are also provided that focus on sports, character building and environmental stewardship. Children in our program will engage in activities that enrich the after school experience and encourage creativity, social relationships, appropriate behavior and a positive self-image.

Teachers must be available Monday thru Friday from 2pm until 6pm. Prior experience working with children from Kindergarten through 5th grade is desirable. First Aid/CPR certification is a plus. Click here to apply.

Assistant Site Coordinator will assist the Site Coordinator with the management of the program at the assigned site.  Responsibilities will include caring for the children, assisting staff and being able to step in for the Site Coordinator when needed.  Hours of work are Monday thru Friday from 2pm until 6pm. Member Services Representative

We have an immediate need for a part-time Member Services Representative at the front desk of the Recreation Complex.  We are currently looking for candidates with exceptional customer service and computer skills.  Must be able to process financial transactions such as registrations, memberships, point-of-sale transactions, and completing end of shift balance reports.  Must have excellent communication skills and a professional and pleasant manner - both in person and over the phone.  Prior customer service experience a plus.  Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends. Director of Golf 

Seeking a Director of Golf to manage four golf clubs in the Fort Mill, Lancaster and Chester areas.  The Director will be responsible for tactical and strategic management of golf course operations at all four LSC Golf Clubs. Director will manage and continually develop all aspects of golf business, providing a clear vision and strategic direction.  Key areas of responsibility are identifying additional sales and marketing opportunities; providing excellent product and customer service; maximizing revenues and profitability; developing a diverse customer base to include all ages and economic strata (includes development of programs for youth and the underprivileged).  The Director will manage all aspects of membership management, golf course maintenance, tournaments, food and beverage, pro shop and retail, marketing and revenue management. The Director will coordinate and monitor partnerships for performance and guest satisfaction in the areas of Marc Lapointe Golf Academy, First Tee of Charlotte and the Fort Mill/Lancaster/Chester School Districts.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated passion and commitment to the game of golf.  Must be a leader, team builder and have the ability to coach and mentor staff effectively.  This position requires a proven track record of personal and professional development reflective of Director of Golf role responsibilities.

The Director position requires a Bachelor's degree in PGM Program, parks and recreation administration, business, or other relevant field supplemented by five years of experience as a Golf Manager/Director or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Cart Attendant - Lancaster Golf Club

Part time weekend cart attendant needed to work 15-18 hours per week.  Must enjoy working with the public, have excellent customer service skills and be knowledgeable about golf.  Work requires a flexible schedule; candidate must have weekend and holiday availability in addition to weekdays. Duties include washing carts, preparing carts for use, receiving carts after play, and making sure carts are charged.  Hours of work are Friday afternoons 3pm until dark, Saturday and Sunday mornings 6:30am - 9:30am and 3pm until dark. Mechanic - Fort Mill Golf Course

We have an opening for a golf course Mechanic.  This is a full time position with a generous benefit package. Must have good mechanic skills and mechanical aptitude; will train the right person for specific duties.
