Assistant Superintendent - Fort Mill Golf Club

Immediate opening for an Assistant Superintendent at Fort Mill Golf Club. This is a full time position with a generous benefit package.  Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent will direct, supervise and participate in all aspects of the maintenance of the golf course tees, greens, fairways, and cart paths under the Superintendent’s direction. Key functions include planning and supervising the maintenance of the greens, tees and fairways; and overseeing the maintenance crew.  Other responsibilities include instructing employees on the operation and care of equipment, turf maintenance, pesticide application, operation and maintenance of pumps, irrigation and drainage systems.  The Assistant Superintendent will assist with personnel management, evaluation, and safety communication/training. Outstanding customer service skills are required as this position will have contact with members, guests, the public and other staff members on a regular basis. This position reports to the Superintendent and must have a working knowledge of the maintenance of golf courses and understand practices for golf course turf, planting, cultivating, pruning, and caring for plants, shrubs and trees.  In addition, must understand proper use of fertilizers, herbicides, and irrigation. Cart Attendant - Springfield Golf Club

Immediate need for a part time cart attendant to work Sunday and Monday afternoons from 1pm until closing.  Must enjoy working with the public, have excellent customer service skills and be knowledgeable about golf. Duties include washing carts, preparing carts for use, receiving carts after play, and making sure carts are charged. Click here to apply.
