Member Services

We have an immediate need for a part time Member Services Rep at the front desk of the Recreation Complex and Welcome Stations on the Greenway. We are currently looking for candidates with exceptional customer service and computer skills. Must be able to process financial transactions such as registration, memberships, point-of-sale transactions, and completing end of shift balance reports. Must have excellent communication skills and a professional and pleasant manner, both in person and over the phone. Prior customer service experience a plus. Assessment Coordinator - FLYERS

Seeking an Assessment Coordinator to work part-time in our FLYERS after school program. This program creates a safe space for parents to leave their children that encourages education and outdoor exploration. The Assessment Coordinator would work closely with the program director to ensure program continuity and constant progress across all sites. 

Key responsibilities would include conducting site observations and making any recommendations for change based on those observations, new hire training, mentoring and coaching staff, assisting in the development and implementation of programming at the sites, and supervising staff and addressing any inquiries or concerns regarding the program. 

Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a childcare setting required. Must have excellent decision making, organizational, communication, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills. Ability to self-start and work independently to implement programs and standards is essential. Click here to apply.

Camp Counselors - ASC Greenway, Adventure Seekers

The Adventure Seekers program is a nature adventure based summer day camp which includes a variety of outdoor activities on the Anne Springs Close Greenway at our Adventure Center.  We are currently seeking qualified candidates for Camp Counselor positions.  Candidates must love the outdoors and have experience in the following:

·        Mountain Biking
·        Kayaking
·        Low Ropes Course
·        Archery
·        Hiking

The following skills/previous experience are required for this position:
·       Previous experience in a camp setting with ages 7 thru 14
·       Ability to encourage leadership, creativity, and interpersonal relationships
·       Assist/actively participate in guiding activities for the campers
·       Be a positive role model and lead by example
·       CPR/First Aid Certification a plus
Camp dates will run Monday to Friday – late May through mid-August. There will be a mandatory training session in May prior to the start of camp.  Counselors must be 18 years of age to apply. Click here to apply.

Assistant Camp Director - ASC Greenway, Adventure Seekers

The Adventure Seekers program is a nature adventure based day camp which includes kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and other outdoor activities on the Anne Springs Close Greenway.  The Assistant Camp Director will be expected to fully engage in all aspects of the camp program.  This position will take place May – August and will assist the Camp Director in the oversight of daily operations of the summer camp program.  Essential duties will include administration, programming, discipline, and other duties as assigned.

Candidates that meet the following criteria will be given preference:

·       Ability to handle multiple tasks; works well under pressure
·       Previous camp experience; outdoor camp experience preferred
·       Leadership experience
·       Above average interpersonal skills with strong written/oral communication skills
·       Ability to work with a diverse population

Mountain Bike Program Leader - ASC Greenway, Adventure Seekers

Experienced Mountain Biker needed to lead the biking program for Adventure Seekers summer camp. The program leader must have experience with mountain biking, be able to teach and understand and assess skill level and have knowledge of general bike maintenance.  The leader will teach participants riding skills and proper technique to ride safely and confidentialy, as well as the technical aspects of trail riding. Kayak Program Leader - ASC Greenway, Adventure Seekers

The Adventure Seekers summer camp program has a need for a kayak program leader.  The leader will teach campers proper paddling skills and proper technique to operate kayaks safely. Must have current lifeguard certification and the ability to teach children.  Click here to apply.

FLYERS - After School Program

We're gearing up for the spring! We need enthusiastic, creative, nurturing, loving people to work part time in our after school program. The FLYERS program takes place in our local area elementary schools. It's a safe place for working parents to leave their children and encourages education and outdoor exploration. Homework, crafts, centers, snack and outdoor play are part of the after school experience. Supplementary programs are provide that focus on sports, character building and environmental stewardship. Children in K through 5th grade will engage in activities that encourage creativity, social relationships, appropriate behavior and positive self-image. Hours of work are Monday - Friday 2pm - 6pm.  Click here to apply.
