A variety of programs are offered here such as club meetings, senior choir, line dancing, walking, special dances, card games, trips, and exercise classes. Shuffleboard, horseshoes, and table tennis are also available to enjoy. Our weight room has a full range of exercise equipment to enhance all aspects of physical fitness. Chester County residents age 50 and over are invited to join the Golden Age Club. The Club enjoys three beach trips to Springmid Beach Resort each year in the Spring, Fall, and the Christmas Shows Trip in November.
Programs and Special Events Senior Aerobic/Strength Training Classes Instructors: Mozell Robinson When: Monday & Friday from 9:00-10:00am Senior Indoor Aerobic Walking Class Instructors: Colleen Littlejohn and Wayne Timms When: Monday & Friday 8:15 am One-on-One Weight Training Instructors: Wayne Timms When: By appointment only Chester County Senior Adult Local Games Seniors will compete with other seniors in their age division in a variety of Olympic type events such as golf, bowling, track and field events, volleyball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, and much more. Chester County Senior Games are held every year in the Fall. You must be a Chester County resident to participate in the games. The seniors also participate in the S.C. Senior Sports Classic at Francis Marion University in Florence during the month of May. Clubroom Rental The Leroy Springs & Co. also offers a clubroom for rental. The room provides an ideal setting for business meetings, social gatherings, and a variety of other special events. The facility can accommodate 200 people for banquet-style events, and as many as 250 can be seated theater-style for business meetings.
